IT-Fitness: test and problems

The IT-Fitness test was endorsed by German Federal Chancelor Angela Merkel on March 14, 2007, and by Swiss Federal Counselor and Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs Doris Leuthard on October 4, 2007. It is meant to assess and certify people's skills in using a computer and basic programs (Office, e-mail, web browser).
Over 150'000 Germans and 5'300 Swiss have already taken it, trusting in the promiss of the German it-fitness.de and Swiss it-fitness.ch sites that this certification would make them "für die Zukunft qualifiziert". This short video collage shows some important flaws in the test that put pay to this claim.
